Sports Court Flooring FAQs - Khammam

Cost depends on the sport, court size, the flooring system you choose (wooden, PVC vinyl, acrylic, PP tiles or rubber) and the condition of the existing sub-base. A single badminton court on PVC vinyl works out very differently from a full wooden multi-court hall in a college or district sports complex. Share your site dimensions and we will send an itemised quotation with material, transport and installation shown separately.

Be straight with us about it at the survey, because it changes the recommendation completely. Interlocking PP tiles are the most forgiving: they are laid dry with no adhesive, so after an inundation they can be lifted, the slab dried and cleaned, and the same tiles relaid - damaged pieces swapped one by one. Acrylic on concrete also cleans up reasonably well. PVC vinyl is a different matter; once water gets underneath, the adhesive bond is gone and the sheet usually has to come off. Air Cush wooden flooring is the worst choice for a hall that floods - swollen battens and boards cannot be recovered. If your site is on low ground near the Munneru, we will say so rather than sell you the costlier system.

Once material reaches site, a PVC vinyl or acrylic court over a ready concrete base is usually playable within 5 to 10 days. Interlocking tile courts go down faster still because there is no adhesive curing involved. Air Cush wooden systems take longer because of sub-frame and curing time. Every quotation shows despatch, expected arrival and installation days separately.
