Sports Court Flooring FAQs - Roorkee

Cost depends on the sport, court size, the flooring system you choose (wooden, PVC vinyl, acrylic, PP tiles or rubber) and the condition of the existing sub-base. A single badminton court on PVC vinyl works out very differently from an institute hall carrying four courts on Air Cush wooden flooring. Share your site dimensions and we will send an itemised quotation with material, transport and installation shown separately.

Four properties matter most, and they are measured on a sample of the system, not judged by eye. Force reduction is the percentage of impact the floor absorbs instead of returning to the player’s joints. Vertical deformation is how far the surface deflects under that impact, which is why a floor can be soft without feeling unstable. Ball rebound compares the bounce height on your floor against a rigid concrete reference, and it has to stay above a set percentage or the game plays wrong. Sliding, or friction, decides whether a player can stop and turn without either skidding or catching. The reports come from independent sports-surface laboratories accredited for these tests, and the certificate names the tested product. Ask us for the test report along with the quotation - a technical buyer should read the numbers, not the adjectives.

Once material reaches site, a PVC vinyl or acrylic court over a ready concrete base is usually playable within 5 to 10 days. Air Cush wooden systems take longer because of sub-frame and curing time. Every quotation shows despatch, expected arrival and installation days separately.
