What is BWF Approved Flooring?
BWF approved flooring is a sports floor that has been tested and certified under the Badminton World Federation's equipment approval programme. The tests check how the floor performs for badminton: shock absorption, ball bounce, surface friction and how the floor deforms under a player's weight.
Only floors that meet the required values receive a BWF equipment certificate. That is why academies and tournament venues choose BWF approved flooring for a professional-grade surface.

Sundek Air Cush Wooden Flooring
Our BWF approved Air Cush Wooden Flooring is a multi-layer sprung floor:
- Surface: kiln-dried hardwood (teak, maple or hevea)
- Cushion layer: pure EPDM rubber for an air-cushion effect
- Finish: non-skid, DIN-certified polyurethane lacquer
- Standard: built to EN 14904 sports floor requirements
It can be used directly as the playing surface or as a sub-floor beneath a badminton court mat.
